Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, the founder of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, has made a mockery of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike over his 2023 presidential ambition, saying “it is laughable that Wike wants to become president.”

Dokubo said this in an interview with Arise TV, adding that Wike is not fit to become the Nigerian President.

The Ex-militant described the Rivers State governor’s ambition as laughable and asked if he at all looks like a potential president. In his words

“It’s laughable that Wike wants to be President. Look at him, does he look like a president? Will Nigerians want a president like that?

Dokubo stressed that it is true that everybody is entitled to contest but even Wike himself should know that it is not possible, adding Somebody who is fond of carrying cutlass, dancing on the street and engaging in hooliganism does not deserve to be president.

“He himself should know that it’s not possible. Yes, everybody is entitled to contest; it’s our PVCs (Permanent Voter Cards) and we are going to examine the person. “Somebody carrying cutlass, somebody dancing on the street, is that the President you want?” Dokubo asked.

HotNewsInNaija reported earlier that Governor Wike after he declared his intention to run for presidency, took a journey to Gombe State to visit the PDP’s Leaders and Stakeholders in the state.

During his visit, Wike said he’s the only person that has the capacity to remove the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party from power.

“One thing that is important is that we are not just going to run for the election, we want to run for election to win the election, if it is we just want to run for election, it is okay, you can give anybody the ticket but if we want PDP to take this power back to PDP on behalf of Nigerians, it is me that can win that election,” Wike said.
