“I’m Better Than Wizkid, Davido, 2Baba, Others” – Blackface Says, Nigerians React

Nigerian Veteran hip hop singer, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface has sparked mixed reactions on social media after he declared himself as the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) of the Nigerian music industry ahead of his former partner, 2Baba, Wizkid, Davido, Burnaboy, Olamide and others.

Blackface made the bold claim in a post shared via his official Instagram account, @therealblackfacenaija.

The singer declared that he is ahead of everyone in the music industry and that they are also well aware of it.

This is coming after a question was thrown online where people were being asked to give their opinion on which artist in the Nigerian music industry has earned himself the GOAT status.

The member of the defuncted Plantasun Boiz, who was not on the list which had Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide’s name jumped in and claimed that he is far better than all the singers mentioned on the list.

This has, therefore, drawn mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media platforms as some of them attacked the veteran singer for making the bold claim, while some said he was only chasing clout or trying to motivate himself.

Some advised the singer that he has passed the level of dragging who is better than who debate online but the he insisted. Blackface also hit back at some who insulted him on the comment section of his post.

However, there are some who felt the legendary singer deserves to be called GOAT because he’s equal to the task of being called such.
