People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant in the last Osun State Governorship election, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, popularly known as Dancing Senator, has commended the stakeholders and elders of the PDP Osun State Chapter over the successful outcome of the reconciliation meeting held on Monday at the Okuku residence of the former Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
Recall that there was a crisis between the Osun PDP over who the party will present as their flag bearer in the forthcoming Osun gubernatorial election.
According to a statement released by the Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, the Senator described the meeting as “fruitful with commendable resolutions and conclusions”.

Hotnewsinnaija.com gathered that Senator Adeleke participated fully at the meetings and he contributed constructively. He also noted that he’s satisfied with the proceedings and resolutions reached, at the meeting. He revealed that he left the meeting afterwards to attend an urgent family meeting.
In his words:
“I commend our leaders for the successful outcome of the meeting. I associate myself with the resolutions reached. PDP is now one big United family in Osun state. I accepted the resolutions reached even though I left afterwards to attend to urgent family issues.”

Senator Adeleke, therefore, urged PDP members to distance themselves from anything that may derail the outcome of the ongoing reconciliation moves. He added:
“We urge PDP members to sustain the peace efforts and avoid rumour-mongering that may derail the successful conclusion of the ongoing reconciliation moves.”
Senator Adeleke lost the last Osun gubernatorial election to the incumbent governor, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola.
