APC chieftain Ayo Oyalowo has come out to reveal Tinubu’s reaction when he heard INEC announce Peter Obi as the candidate with the most votes in Lagos state during the presidential election on February this year.
According to Mr. Oyalowo who appeared in an interview on Channels television tonight, Tinubu told those his party members with him to move on when it was announced that Peter Obi had won in Lagos state.
Speaking on Channels Television, he said;
“I remember before the final result was announced, and Tinubu heard that Lagos state was lost by our party, I know what he said. He said it’s not a big deal, leave it, we lost it, let’s move on. That is Bola Ahmed Tinubu for you, he is a democrat and he understands that look, it’s a game of win and lose. You remember in 2011, when we created ACN, this man magnanimously granted his platform to someone to contest, we remember also in 2007 when President Obasanjo wanted to do everything in his power to humiliate his deputy then, we all knew what happened.”
