Muslim/Muslim ticket will not fly with our current travail where Muslim fundamentalist are killing christians. Kaduna state is currently Muslim/Muslim administration, and the predominant christians southern kaduna are almost wipe out by muslims fanatics while the governor look away.

My Reply: And what has Osinbajo been able to do to the killings even as the sitting VP? You and I understand that a VP in Nigeria is more of a rubber stamp position for the president.

You may claim that Firstlady position has no constitutional role, but If you have Pastor Remi Tinubu, who equally is an active politician and a Senator for 12 years, as the Firstlady, I am sure she won’t allow the president to rest until justice is served. This highlights that a pastor Firstlady will make more meaning than even the VP.

Remi Tinubu is not a docile wife who will look away when justice for the Christian population is being denied. Bola Tinubu himself is a liberal and tolerant muslim who has lived under the same roof with a Pastor wife for decades with adequate respect and understanding.

A wife has more impact and can influence the husband’s decision than just a deputy, because they sleep together, eat together and debate together while others might have been away. You can take that to the bank.

The type of VP that APC needs now is someone popular in the North who can muscle Atiku strenght with strenght, and will be able to deliver a significant number of vote, but not the one driven by religious sentiment.

At the end of it all, we should know that Join-Together relationship is not the mate of any Joint Ticket!!
