There have been mixed reactions on social media following the surprising exit of one of the strong Housemates in the Big Brother Naija House, Maria Agueze with some yet to believe that such could happen at this early stage of the show.

It came as a shock to many viewers and even some celebrities that Ebuka, during the Sunday night Live eviction show, could mention Maria’s name as one of those that would be leaving the House.

Before the Live show and even when Ebuka was ready to announce the names of those that have been evicted not many guessed that housemate, Maria’s name was written on the piece of paper held by him.

Not only the viewers were left surprised when her name was mentioned, but even her fellow Housemates were also stunned by her removal from the reality TV show because many of them feel Maria is a strong contender.

This, therefore, caused many reactions from people on social media as they react to the rather surprising eviction with some of them suggesting that Biggie might probably have something up his sleeves and the eviction could be a fake.

However, some of those that believed Maria has been evicted, questioned why the Housemate who is regarded to be one of those that are feeding them the drama they subscribed for will be evicted before those who nothing or less to offer them.

Here are some reactions,

“This Babe was milked dry!

Made a wild card!
The only week she was HOH she couldn’t do anything with it!
She executed the secret task perfectly! No immunity reward!
Before nominations, she was punished heavily and the HOH was told they couldn’t save her!
And now she’s out👏🏾 SHOCKER

“Maria’s fan base tried, it’s unfortunate that it was a triple eviction night plus the game is getting closer and closer. The house has to be decongested. Maria played her game well, she gave us talking points and she’ll do well. Nobody loses, the platform has been given.

“Maria inherited beef that was not her own and the original beefer and the beefee are still the house. This life is somehow.

“Pere scored 14.1% votes while Maria scored 13.7%. Kussman almost made everyone believe this girl had the biggest fanbase out here, so na just accents and inshallah Face with tears of joyFace with tears of joy

More reactions:

“WhiteMoney fans voted for Queen to punish PERE, but unfortunately the hammer fell on Maria. By Sandra Okeke.”

“Biggie, you just evicted the most beautiful girl on BBN this season. A class act. A sophisticated dresser. A reason for the season. Oh nooooooo!

“Maria’s fans: We not watching big brother after Maria’s eviction

“If her agency gets it right, Maria can still be the winner that didn’t win #BBNaija like Nengi, Tacha and Erica. She’s got what brands are looking for. Position well. Cash-out.

“They understood the assignment with Queen. They understand alliance and friendships. I might not be thrilled that Maria is gone, but I respect WM fans. They didn’t seat back and watch one of theirs drown.

“Maria’s hate for whitemoney and Angel killed her game, you might have a strong fanbase but be careful how you treat other people #BBNaija.”

Biggie took advantage of of Maria’s simplicity. It’s very bad to see the organizers manipulating the results, this is too bad.

Biggie has not been fear enough! Maria is one of the housemates that are making the show interesting. I seriously believe that they will lose viewers because of her eviction.
