A Nigerian top-notch hip-hop singer, songwriter, rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has apologised to Chelsea fans for doubting if The Blues can defeat Manchester City in the Champions League final.
The “Bop Daddy” crooner who is neither Man City nor Chelsea fans shared his view on the then yet to play final match, noting that the London based club has nothing to play in the match – a remark that meant that Chelsea cannot beat Man City.
Chelsea and Manchester City booked their place in the UEFA Champions League final after the former and the latter defeated Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain respectively.
In his previous tweet posted via his official Twitter page Falz said:
“Nothing for Chelsea Jor”
Following this, the Pride of London, Chelsea showed their class in Portugal, defeated Pep Guardiola’s men who most sports pundits and sports lovers except their fans tipped to take the trophy home 1-0.
Thanks to the lone goal from the German youngster, Kai Havertz in the 42nd minutes into the match that rendered Manchester City multimillion pounds squad useless.
Falz who felt remorseful for what he had posted earlier about the new Champions of Europe, took his Twitter page again to apologise to the fans.
