Frederico Rodrigues, a Manchester United midfielder has stated that the Club is suffering from the lack of proper football planning.

The Brazilian cited lack of direction from those in charge of the club as one of the failures of the management of the Manchester based club. He slammed the inability of the club to get a permanent manager.

Following the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November last year, United secured the signing of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Richard Arnold, the new Chief Executive who took over from Ed Woodward this month has been given the task of appointing Man United next manager, which will be the fifth manager since the great Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

The Selecao declared the situation with the interim manager is not ideal and noted that it is of great concern among United’s players not to have a permanent boss.

Fred

In his words:

“It’s a bit strange. I know in football it’s important to get good results as soon as possible, but it’s also important to have a long-term plan.

“I think it’s a little bit bad for us not to have one [a permanent boss]. At the moment it’s all about the short-term goals.

Fred stated that United Players don’t know the next line of actions of the club’s management after the end of this ongoing season. He brought back the memory of heartbroken they experienced last season during the Europa League final. The Brazilian said without disrespecting their opponent, United was supposed to win the cup but they were unable to do. He said.

“With all due respect to Villarreal, it was our job to win that Europa League final last season and we failed.

“It’s about having better football planning at the club – if you don’t want to win titles you don’t deserve to play for Manchester United.

“We’re still in the Champions League but let’s see if we arrive better next season to find our peak football.”
