2023: Melaye Dancing Naked, Exposes His Ignorance On Tinubu’s Bicycling

Dino Melaye, the Spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Committee on Monday has once again shown that he’s just one overrated politician who’s not well vast beyond politics.

Melaye exposes his ignorance by coming on social media to say that Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election, rode a fitness bike because he is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Melaye might have been a fantastically good jester, but this time around, he dabbled into a wide field of medicine and human kinetics that is meant only for well-trained professionals and not for mere noise-makers of his ilk.

Our interactions with Physiotherapists and Physical Fitness professionals reveal that bicycling is not a particular treatment for Parkinson’s disease but a healthy, fun and low-impact form of exercise for all ages. It can help to protect people from serious diseases such as Arthritis, heart attack, some cancers, depression, diabetes, obesity and stroke.

Regular bicycling is one of the best ways to reduce the human risk of health problems associated with a sedentary lifestyle. A sedentary lifestyle is when you mostly work in a sitting position or a way of life characterized by much sitting and little physical exercise. It is general knowledge that Tinubu fits in this category, and that shows why bicycling is a good form of exercise for him.

Bicycling is good in a number of ways: It has low impact, meaning it causes less strain and injuries than most other forms of exercise. It is a good muscle work out and does not require high levels of physical skill like other sports. Bicycling is good for strength and stamina and can be done at very low intensity, if recovering from injury or illness, but can be built up into a demanding physical work out with time.

Melaye probably did not know that bicycling is mainly an aerobic activity, which means that our heart, blood vessels and lungs all get a workout. We breathe deeper, perspire and experience increased body temperature, which improves our overall fitness level.

If Melaye now alleges that Tinubu only rode a fitness bike because he has a particular disease, we hope he would be bold enough to also reveal to the public the kind of illness that Abubakar Atiku’s is nursing, which forced him into all-night kicking of football and sometimes being sighted on the treadmill.

We may not be sure whether his own principal is suffering from a chronic Chorea disease when recently sighted dancing all alone in an isolated room in a viral video circulating online, but we will be sure to tell him, if he is so ignorant, that regular bicycling, as done by our Asiwaju, stimulates and improves people’s heart, lungs and blood circulation, and thus reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. And it is the more reason Asiwaju is fond of it.

In all honesty, Melaye needs be reminded to brace up to the standard expected of him as the spokesman of a leading presidential candidate by engaging on issue-based campaign rather than mere casting of aspersions on the personality of a more focused candidate that is poised to beat his principal and party hands down in the coming presidential election.

Bola Tinubu understands that Nigerians are only interested in hearing what he can do and will do differently to turn around the narratives of our nation, and he is focused on just that. He will never be distracted by the rants of a defocused clown.
