Manchester United Talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo has said his team has proven to be capable of beating any team in the world after their well-deserved victory over Tottenham Hotspur in their Saturday evening Premier League tie.
The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner displayed a champion performance in the match, scoring his first hattrick for United since when backed to the club in the summer transfer window.
Ronaldo with a classical screamer in the 12th minute of the game put the Red Devils up but a spot-kick equaliser from the English striker, Harry Kane levelled the game back in the 35th minute. He would then score again in the 38th minute to make sure United were up at the end of the first half of the game.
In the 72nd minute, unabated Antonio Conte’s side mounted pressures on Manchester United’s defence and this earned them a condign equaliser after a cross from a Tottenham winger was pulled inside the net by Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire.
The Portugal National Team Captain, with his efforts from a powerful header, secured the victory for the Red Devils in the 81st minute of the game and as well completed his first hattrick for United since his return to the club in the summer transfer window.
With the victory, Manchester United has now moved to fourth position on the Premier League table, with just two points ahead of Arsenal who would be playing its own match later today against Leicester City.
Following this, Ronaldo took to his official Facebook page to show his excitement for the wonderful performance he has had and for his first hattrick since his return to Old Trafford. He said he’s very happy to score his first hattrick, adding that there is nothing better than helping his team goals and effort.
